Sanj has business in his DNA. He started his journey into business as a youngster working during school holidays. Whilst studying at university he started a business venture where he ran a small store for 2 years which provided his disposable income. At the end of 2 years, he sold it and made a small return on his investment.

His experience includes managing a business in a hyperinflationary economy and then emigrating half way around the world to start at the coalface again. Through hard work and dedication, he was able to climb the career ladder quickly, all the way to managing the National Operations of a $100M+ business and a team complement of 250+.

Sanj has an in-depth understanding of team leadership including recruiting, training, and developing individuals’ capabilities. He also has a wealth of knowledge around Health and Safety management, Change management, P&L and budget accountability, Inventory control and KPI management. His broad-based retail experience covers: designing and conducting Operating System Audits; Customer Service; Strategic Management (across a national network) and Marketing Strategies and implementation.
