Originally graduating with a Master of Science degree, his early career was spent in medical research before moving into sales in the science and technology field.

Robin went on to manage a direct sales office of an international scientific and diagnostic company. It quickly became one of the fastest growing and most profitable of its world-wide subsidiaries. Realising the need to develop a higher level of management and general business expertise, he also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Auckland.

Robin’s career has taken him to Asia and parts of Africa to identify and evaluate acquisition and Greenfield opportunities in healthcare, and he has been involved in projects throughout Australasia, also managing a specialist high tech medical company. He has developed a successful track record for both planning strategy and managing implementation, particularly around identifying opportunities for improving profitability and growth.

Robin experience working with business owners has given Robin valuable insight and an understanding of the stresses and pressures they can face.

Robin believes in developing long term relationships with clients to increase the profitability and value of the businesses and secure the freedom to achieve their personal goals. His approach is collaborative and he gains immense satisfaction from helping others succeed.

Robin lives in Auckland with his partner, Fiona. They spend much of their spare time on house renovations, having rashly thought it would be fun to do up an old villa. He is also a keen fly fisherman and loves being out on a river trying to outwit trout.
