James has over 30 years management experience with international companies of all sizes, in
various regions of the world.
His focus has been the transport and logistics sectors, specializing in supporting companies
in difficulty. His strengths include improving customer satisfaction, robust team building,
modernisation of systems and processes, improving sales effort and hence financial
performance. Successful examples include the post-covid return to profit and service levels
of a Papua helicopter company, to the building of a German jet operator from a ‘desk and
laptop’ start up to a multi aircraft company.
His aim has always been to achieve a high performing business, with a motivated workforce,
reducing unnecessary complexity and improving focus on the customer. James is a firm
believer in building depth of responsibility into an organisation, believing it a win-win for
employees and owners alike.
James lives in the Nelson Tasman region enjoying nature to the fullest with his wife and two
rescue dogs.
