Bruce Cowan brings a wealth of experience to his role as a business consultant, having successfully delivered large-scale engineering projects and built his own small business from the ground up-cracking the highly competitive export market.
He understands first-hand the challenges business owners face, and he has built his consulting firm using the same principles he now brings to his clients. These principles helped him grow from a solo practitioner into the leader of a high-performing consulting team, which has since merged with Oxygen8 to become one of New Zealand’s most dynamic business consultancies.
With an engineer’s mindset, Bruce is always looking at how systems function and how the parts interact to influence outcomes.
“Business has been business since the stone age,” he says. “You spend to have a thing people want to buy, you find the people who want it and you sell it so as to make a profit.”
