With 30 years of corporate experience, Brian Elliott is an expert in financial management, business systems implementation, process efficiency, and leadership. He has a natural ability to create order and success from the chaos of business.
Brian has held various senior roles, including Chief Financial Officer, across a wide range of industries. His hands-on approach and extensive knowledge make him a valuable asset to small business owners. Commencing his career in the liquor industry and later progressing through gas, packaging, vehicle inspection, payroll companies, and more, Brian has in-depth knowledge of the internal workings of many of New Zealand’s most successful businesses.
Growing up in a family of small business owners Brian understands the unique challenges they face. He has seen the joys of success and despair of failure up close and this has driven Brian’s desire to do more than just provide advice. He is passionate about helping Christchurch businesses thrive.
Brian’s commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his MBA (2005) and PhD (2018). He has successfully led Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Health and Safety teams and now brings this expertise to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
