Robin Ching has developed a successful track record in both strategic planning and hands-on implementation, with a particular focus on identifying opportunities to increase profitability and drive business growth.
His experience spans local and international markets, and he is passionate about working with New Zealand business owners to help them grow, succeed, and create long-term value.
Originally graduating with a Master of Science, Robin began his career in medical research before moving into sales in the science and technology sector. He went on to manage a direct sales office for an international scientific and diagnostic company, turning it into one of the fastest growing and most profitable subsidiaries worldwide.
To strengthen his leadership and management expertise, Robin completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Auckland.
Robin’s career has taken him across Asia and parts of Africa, where he evaluated acquisition and Greenfield opportunities in the healthcare sector. He has also managed a specialist high-tech medical company and led projects throughout Australasia.
This background gives him broad commercial acumen and a strong foundation for business consulting and business development, particularly in high-complexity, high-growth environments.
Robin works directly with business owners, offering practical support and strategic insight while understanding the real pressures they face. He believes in building long-term client relationships that focus on profitability, sustainability, and increased business value.

Robin lives in Auckland with his partner, Fiona. They spend much of their free time on a lifestyle property on the outskirts of Auckland and escaping to nature – particularly fly fishing, where Robin enjoys trying to outwit elusive trout on the river.
