James began his career as an accountant with KPMG. After traveling and working on sailboats and superyachts for a number of years, he completed an MBA in Finance and Management in USA. He then worked in finance, advancing to Director of Financial Operations for a billion dollar ship and offshore oil rig building and repair Company with 22 repair and manufacturing facilities along the Gulf Coast of USA.
He has been involved with business improvement projects, both internally within companies, and externally with small and medium businesses, for much of his career. These include strategy, production improvement and accounting improvement projects within a large scale manufacturing environment, along with product development and sales and marketing in service and manufacturing companies.
James broad range of experience covers Business Strategy and Development, Startup and Project Management, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales. He also has an in depth understanding of all the financial disciplines needed for the running of a successful business.

When James is not at work, he is raising his two sons and one daughter, with his wife Daninka. He enjoys coaching Football, helping with Scouts, sailing and family boating.
