Gary Nel

Gary Nel is a leading expert in implementing change. He has significant experience in the successful implementation of a range of projects and strategies effecting positive change and enabling business growth.

Having worked from the shop floor as a tradesman to the boardroom as a CEO, I understand many of the challenges and opportunities a business can face and how to address to them.

Gary has over 30 years of business management experience and with a master’s degree in project management he is able to break down complex challenges into logical tasks and provide a practical roadmap to achieve a desired outcome.  Trained as an engineer and initially specialising in product design and commercialisation, he moved onto general management of supply chain, sales, marketing, information systems, finance and HR functions.

As the CEO and Board member of a N.Z. listed company Gary shaped high level business strategies and provided the necessary leadership and governance to achieve them.

He believes that the powerful combination of clear objectives and the right, motivated team is the winning formula for success in any challenge. He is passionate about business and making them succeed and is comfortable working alongside people at any level in an organisation.

Gary lives in Auckland and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, when not at home he is out fly-fishing and kite boarding.
